I saw a post in a local IT forum and thought i'd give it a try.
It appears that the guys from www.css25.net are giving away free web hosting account for a limited time only.

How to apply:
1. Click on my refferal link get free account or you could go directly to www.css25.net and apply from there.
2. Once you have created an account, request for a subdomain from the administrator. TO do this, go to the forum, look for Free Hosting Account Request then make a new thread.
3. Wait for the message from the admin stating that your free subdomain has been created.
4. Your done!
The server is quite fast if i may say so. I hope it will not slow down as the user increases.
This is a perfect playground for cheapskate web design/creation noob like me. heh.

It appears that their account got suspended by their service provider.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
This was true a long time ago.
The owner’s account got suspended I think due to a breach in host’s usage policy.
